BIO
A Dallas
native, Christie Shane (formerly Christie Beckham) holds a B.F.A. in
Theater Performance from Texas Christian University and attended the
National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center/Moscow
Art Theater. Christie has worked regionally in Dallas and Chicago and
has toured productions along the east coast and in Russia for the past
8 years.
In addition
to her talents as a performer, Christie is also a critically-acclaimed
director and a grant writer. In the past, she has served as Development
Coordinator and Company Member for NYC’s Amphibian Productions,
as an Associate Member of the Mild Dementia Continuous-Play Variety
Hour and is currently proud to be serving as both an Ensemble Member
and as Director of Development of Shane-Arts and the new Dallas Hub
Theater.
Also
committed to promoting and working with other arts organizations and
theater companies, Christie has worked with such companies as Audacity
Productions, Amphibian Productions, the Chicago Public Theater, Dallas
Children’s Theater, Hampstead Players, RISK Theater Initiative,
Mesquite Arts Center, Plano Repertory Theater, Progrexssive Arts, Theater
Quorum and The Women’s Theater Alliance (Chicago), in addition
to occasional film and television roles.
