BIO
Amy Brown has recently returned to live theatre performance after starring in several independent feature films, short and student films, television, and industrials. She currently stars in Take-Away Spirit, a Chinese ghost and vampire feature for New York’s One Shot Productions, which will have international distribution. Amy’s most well-known film to date is The Rockville Slayer, a thriller starring Joe Estevez and scream queen legend Linnea Quigley, also distributed internationally. In this film, Amy has a supporting role as an escaped mental patient. In recent years, Amy starred in Dawn of Twilight as an amnesiac pursued by a hit-man and Mute as a woman tormented by a killer. She is represented by Linda McAlister Talent (http://www.mcalistertalent.com/headbook/Brown,_Amy.htm).
Amy began acting in school productions and community theatre in Waco, Texas. Her interest in acting deepened in high school, when she had leading roles in plays such as The Odd Couple (Female Version) by Neil Simon and the title role in David Mamet’s The Poet and the Rent. She completed her BFA degree in acting (graduating summa cum laude) at Texas Christian University. Performance highlights there included the role of Sister Martha in Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac and dual leading roles in the gender-bending student production Breakfast Serial. Another experience was performing in Andy Dick’s Circus of Freaks, a disturbing stage show directed by and starring the controversial TV star Andy Dick. Amy also forayed into directing with Djuna Barnes’s The Dove. She was a founding member of New Studio Theatre, a group of students who explored avant-garde, surrealist, and Dadaist plays and writings, focusing on the theories of Antonin Artaud.
Although her background was in theatre, the majority of Amy’s professional acting career has been in film. Her roles have included a goth girl, smart-mouthed artist, leukemia patient, 300-year-old witch, vampire victim, accidental murderer-cum-zombie victim, cheerleader, and Natalie Portman fan. She has also lent her voice-over talents to several nationally-aired anime cartoon shows. Amy studied film acting with Michele Condrey at REACT in Dallas (where she was named the studio’s top actor for summer 2004).
Amy has greatly enjoyed her return to live performance since the fall of 2005, when she began performing in a variety of Comedy Killers shows for Shane-Arts. She is fluent in French and is an amateur pianist and harpsichordist. Her hobbies include web design (the hub of her websites is http://amybrown.net), watching Seinfeld and Star Wars, and caring for her many cats. A vegetarian since age thirteen, Amy is an adamant supporter of animal rights.

BIO
Originally from Chicago, Tim has always been involved in the performing arts. Shortly after his family relocated to Texas, he focused primarily on the theatrical arts. Always very active throughout school, he founded his own workshop company in high school and directed his first professional production at the young age of sixteen.
His college career was peppered with numerous awards, accolades and scholarships honoring his skills as an actor and a director for both stage and screen. While pursuing his education, he was sure to stay involved with professional theaters either as a performer, intern or student. He has worked with such improv companies as Second City, Ad Libs, Scarborough Academy of Performing Arts as well as theater organizations such as the Shakespeare Festival of Dallas and Stage West. Upon completing his degree from Texas Christian University, he returned to academia after a short professional hiatus to teach. He has served as staff and adjunct faculty for Eastfield College, an administrator and instructor for Richland College and is currently an instructor and Assistant Dean at El Centro College.
While directing the improvisation portion of the Scarborough Academy of the Performing Arts, he formed, directed and produced the world recognized Commedia dell’Carte in 1993. A few years later, he began to run and direct the Comedy Killers Murder Mystery Troupe (also founded in 1993) and would eventually reorganize the multiple creative endeavors under the Shane-Arts umbrella.
Tim guided the companies growth into the 21st century with a total of 6 active divisions to the point that it required a home base. Realizing that many other theater companies would eventually move in this direction, he and his company founded and opened the Dallas Hub Theatre in April, 2005.
Also an accomplished writer, he has written several short plays, screenplays, commissioned works, and regular premieres for the multiple endeavors of Shane-Arts, most of which are produced to critical, audience and talent’s acclaim. In 2005, 12 of his plays were produced in the DFW area, and 1 in the NYC area, and this number has increased in 2006 and looks like it will continue into 2007. He hosts and has made a home for the DFW Playwright’s Alliance at the Dallas Hub Theater to aide in the development of other local playwright’s talents and careers.
In addition to the many facets of acting, directing, producing, writing and the day to day running of Shane-Arts and the Hub, Tim remains active in the industry working with such theater companies as Audacity, Plano Children’s Theater, Plano Repertory Theater, Pocket Sandwich Theater, PX Arts and Stage West and serving on the board of the Dallas Theatre League.
He enjoys supporting cultural arts, music, riding motorcycles, staying current with the latest technology and traveling.
